BULGARIA MUST PROSECUTE THIS HOMOPHOBIC PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE!

Can you imagine a presidential candidate leading a hateful mob to attack LGBT+ people?

That's what happened in Sofia, Bulgaria. A right-wing mob, led by Bulgarian presidential candidate Boyan Rasate, stormed and vandalized the only safe space for LGBT+ folks in Sofia, the Rainbow Hub. Within minutes, they destroyed years worth of work and physically attacked one of the activists.

The Bulgarian government has been ignoring the call for action from the LGBT+ community for years. This is the consequence of their inaction – and it needs to stop.

So far, the international pressure is working – Rasate's immunity was lifted and he is currently under arrest. But that is not enough!
