‘Church in crisis’: what the papers say about the archbishop of Canterbury’s resignation

If this is how Christians behave,

then the religion is nothing short of evil.

The church has been covering up child abuse - and all too often at the hands of its own priests and nuns and where horrendous abuses have taken place and all the church has done is protect itself with cover up after cover up and now the truth is out there, maybe more heads will roll and hopefully, more people sent to prison and not just allowed to retire on full pension and get away with it.

By ignoring and by deliberately hiding the truth, all this man has done is act as a groomer, a pimp, and should be prosecuted. He KNEW it was going on and did nothing and this is rife within the church, absolutely rife and is nothing new - having gone on for hundreds of years and only now - very slowly and very begrudgingly, is the church coming clean and maybe - just maybe - they only do so because of the media and public pressure.

Sad that they could not truly do God's work and report every abuser at the time to the authorities and keep the church clean - other than hide the abuser and become no better than the Nazi's, but then we all know how the church of Rome helped the Nazis escape at the end of the war and it seems, wherever there is power, control and wealth - you will find the church involved somehow.

Justin Welby should and must be prosecuted. He must face the public and he must never be seen with reverence again. He is the lowest of lows. He is scum. He is a vile human being and I absolutely do not care how many times he gets on his knees and prays for forgiveness, thousands of peoples lives have been destroyed because of his lack of action and for that, there is only one place for him and it sure as hell aint Heaven.

When he is at those Pearly Gates and asked what he did right and what he did wrong, there will be a a major black mark in God's book against the name Justin Welby. He may not have abused, but by doing nothing - he is even worse than the abuser.

He is an absolute disgrace as a Man of God - and sets a VERY bad example of what being a Christian is suppose to be, and this man, this high up in the church, this Archbishop - did NOTHING - absolutely NOTHING to help ease the pain and anguish of the abused, he actually allowed it to continue and said and did NOTHING.

And any awards given like the CBE or OBE or whatever, should be taken away from him.

John Bellamy Comments: When I was a sex worker I visited a priest in Hampstead who was the most twisted, sexual perverse human being I ever encountered. A LOT of what he wanted was anti Jesus - anti the Bible - anti the establishment of the church within the church itself and complete and utter desecration of anything holy - in a sexual manner - however dirty and however smelly, and the worse I made it, the more he revelled in it - and I will point out, it was ALL verbal story telling and NOTHING was actually physically done.

He was well known amongst sex workers for his ' lifestyle choices' and eventually the Sun newspaper sent in a rent boy with a mike attached to record the conversation and the church IMMEDIATELY moved him to a retreat in Switzerland. While nothing he was doing was illegal, no children were involved and actually, nothing actually happened, moving him and hiding him from the UK people was tantamount to hiding a criminal and THAT is what the church has done for centuries.
