Is this you ?
Do you do nothing when you hear bad news on the telly and just turn the channel ? Do you bury your head in the sand and just ignore all the troubles going on in the UK and say and do bugger all ?
While you have your head buried in the sand, do you then reach back and part your cheeks so as they come off the boats - they can fuck you right, left and centre... without a care in the world and then complain and demand more and more and more...?
Are you - in that case - complicit with gang rapes against our children - illegal immigration out of control - a government screwing pensioners out of money - the likes of Trump destroying democracy - utility companies in the UK charging excessive amounts compared to other countries - where our homeless are left homeless while illegal migrants are put up in 4 and 5 star hotels - and where big corporate business screws us all into financial ruin - councilors rewarding themselves with huge bonuses while going bankrupt - and all happening on a world - seemingly - going mad ? Or do you have an opinion - a voice - and do you use that voice to speak up against - and demand that your voice and your opinion counts for something - and that NO ONE - not the police, not the government and not your neighbours or even family can talk you out of it ? Do you stand your ground against bullying and abuse - do you speak up against child rapes - do you see what is changing for the worst in the UK - and globally - or do you shy away and don't want to get involved and so allow it to continue and where you are then as guilty as the abuser ?
Do you write an e mail or letter to your MP or council concerning any of these abusive illegal and horrendous topics - or turn the channel and assume someone else will sort it so you can live your life in ignorance until - maybe - one day - it hits so close to home you cannot ignore it and by then, because you have said and done nothing for so long, it is too late for change - to late to complain - to late to speak up and far to late for you - as you will now be blamed as one of the abusers - a pimp - not actually involved, but allowing through your silence.
Have you shared your concerns through this newsletter, or even just to me here in private - agreeing with something I have said - or do you just click on the MALE NUDE PAGES , grab your dick and have a wank and ignore the more pressing and serious topics offered. Is it, therefore, all about you and to hell with the rest of the world, as long as you are warm and fed and entertained;- to hell with everyone else ? Is this you ?
I will know by the amount of e mails I get in return agreeing or disagreeing with this piece and I will know by your silence.
Silence allows.
Silence gives permission.
Silence is complicit.
Silence kills and silence devastates those who need your voice to help change things for the better.
DO NOT REMAIN SILENT.
YOU HAVE A VOICE - USE IT.
Your input is always invited and your opinions matter.

Good morning John!
What an excellent blog this morning! Some very thought provoking articles about issues that really matter!
First, can I send you my very best wishes for a happy birthday! Seventy is a big step: I know, it happened to me four and a half years ago!!! I know that you had some health issues last year, but I hope that this year is better for you! No more wank-inhibiting catheters! It must have been bliss when you finally had your cock free of such a horrible thing!
This year promises to be ‘interesting’, especially as that cunt Donald Trump becomes president again! God help us all! By the time he’s invaded Greenland and the Panama Canal, taxed Chinese imports, made love to Putin and generally fucked up everything around him, we will all be well on the way up shit creek!
On a happier note, I loved the nudes this week: the young men, cos I used to be like that and the ‘dad-boss’, cos that’s me now!!! Some lovely cock!
I hope you can keep warm and well and enjoy the occasional (not too occasional!) wank!!
Hugs
Adrian
Wow John. Loved your piece this morning about IS THIS YOU. You sure don't pull any punches and go straight for the throat and damned good for you. Too many don't give a damn and then wonder when things go belly up. Well written. Jacob.
I’m so with you about tips! A few of our guests leave a tip £10 or maybe £20 for a weekend that comes to £500 but most don’t, yet they are happy to praise our service. Go to a restaurant and most people leave 10% unless the service is poor. Our therapists get more tips than the front of house so I’m guessing that a waitress or therapist is seen as an individual but the front of house team who probably do more are not recognised in the same way.
Strange old world.
Best wishes
Tim
Dear John, I am absolutely behind you on this issue of no gratitude towards good service. I never except anything from anyone for this reason and do things to please myself and except nothing back. Because some people are just ignorant. I do hope Woody wasn't too upset and did what he did because he wanted too, without rewards and felt good about himself for doing something good. As the saing goes 'goodness comes from the heart. '
It would have been nice to get a box of chocolates but it is what it is. Next time Martin and I visit you I shall try to remember to bring chocolates for Woody. If I can remember so please forgive me if I don't. However, you can always remind me when we visit. Give Woody a hug from Martin and me.

Dear John: I write and I make noise and I do what I can and sadly, seems not to work. Politicians do not listen. Councilors offer arrogance and condescension, and officialdom seems so far up its own arse it never pays us people any attention. I wish our voice was heard. Geoff.
Good one John. IS THIS YOU. Powerful stuff and damned good for you. Too many people are sick of how things are and yet stay dumb. Calum.
Me ? Silent ? Never ! Stuart. Bit heavy John. Bit 'in your face.' Bit strong for a Sunday morning when all I want is a relaxing read. Put a bit of a dampener on things. 'Is This You' was well written and shocked me. Am I as guilty as the rapists if I say and do nothing, I suppose you are right. Too many did nothing when the Nazi's were hunting the Jews. Too many turned their backs and said nothing. I am 82 this year and remember all too well the horrors when people stay silent. Time to speak up and you are right. Use your voice. Melvyn.
I've always stayed clear of political debate until the rapes by Pakistani gangs attacked my niece and BOY have I been vocal since. My sister was 'on it' straight away as she saw a marked difference in her daughters behaviour and immediately suspected something was wrong and had a long talk with her and it all came crying out of her. I was arrested by the police for speaking up. I still would not shut up. Police threatened ME with prosecution for breach of the peace, harassments and religious intolerance and I screamed that my 12 year old niece was attacked and how there was NO WAY I was going to shut up. I got 14 days prison and bound over to keep the peace. I will not 'keep the peace' and shall continue fighting for the truth to come out and in the mean time, my niece is traumatised and the Pakistani gang are not even investigated. 2 years ago now but the pain is still deep.
