Necrophiliac murderer David Fuller, who is serving life for killing two women and sexually abusing 102 female corpses, has appeared in court to face 16 new sex charges.

Fuller, 68, beat and strangled Wendy Knell, 25, and Caroline Pierce, 20, to death before sexually assaulting them in two separate attacks in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, in 1987.

He also filmed himself abusing corpses, including a nine-year-old girl, two 16-year-olds, and a 100-year-old woman, over 12 years before his arrest in December 2020.

On Tuesday Fuller was charged with 12 more counts of sexual penetration of a corpse and four counts of possession of extreme pornography.

Fuller appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Thursday morning via video link from HMP Frankland.

He was wearing a grey prison-issue jumper and looked down at the table in front of him while the charges were read to him.

Fuller spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth, current residence, and to enter no plea to all 16 charges.

They include the sexual penetration of a corpse, possessing an extreme pornographic image involving sexual interference with a corpse and taking indecent images of children.

Fuller will be remanded in custody at HMP Frankland in County Durham and is set to appear again at Maidstone Crown Court on November 3.

Fuller received two whole life sentences in December 2021 after admitting sexually assaulting at least 102 female corpses while working as an electrician in a hospital morgue.

The pensioner pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court to their murders, as well as 51 other offences, including 44 charges relating to 78 victims in mortuaries between 2008 and November 2020.

His crimes first came to light after he was linked to one of Britain's longest unsolved double killings more than 30 years ago.

During the investigation, Fuller was linked to the 30-year cold cases by a DNA breakthrough that then led police to his stash of sickening recordings of himself abusing corpses.

On Tuesday, police brought a further 16 charges against him in relation to sexual offences committed in a mortuary setting.

Kent Police said: 'An investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate has led to evidence which relates to a total of 101 victims in these mortuary settings.

'The latest charges are connected to the 23 remaining victims, of all whom were deceased adult females. They cover a period between 2007 and 2020.'

Fuller, from Heathfield, East Sussex, who is being held at Frankland Prison in Durham, has been charged with 10 offences under section 70 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, which relate to offences involving 10 identified victims.

He has also been charged with two further offences under section 70 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, relating to offences involving three unidentified victims.

Police also brought two charges against him under section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008. These relate to the possession of extreme pornography in connection with 13 identified victims.

And two further charges under section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 which relate to the possession of extreme pornography in connection with 10 unidentified victims.

In December 2021, Fuller was also given concurrent sentences totalling 12 years, in respect of further unrelated charges he pleaded guilty to.

These included sexual offences against 78 deceased females at mortuaries in Tunbridge Wells Hospital and at the former Kent and Sussex Hospital, between 2008 and 2020.

He had worked there as an electrician since 1989.

An investigation by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate has since brought further evidence to light, helping officers to identify a total of 101 victims.

The latest charges are connected to the 23 remaining victims - all deceased adult females - whose corpses were abused between 2007 and 2020.

An extensive and complex identification process led officers to formally identify 13 of these 23 further victims.

Police were unable to establish the identities of the other 10 victims, however the charges reflect offending against all of them.

After the conviction in December, Kent Police revealed a dedicated team of investigators will spend a year picking through Fuller's life to see if he is behind any other cold cases of missing women.

So far, no evidence has been found of any further victims, police said.

I have to admit to reading this article with a look on my face as if the dog had just farted - or the toilet had backed up all over the floor - a look of revulsion.

I have done some weird and wacky things in my time as a sex worker from fucking a priest inside a convent to - well - lets just say some pretty heavy sex stuff - and it was always consensual , safe sex, and paid for by the person receiving and they were always conscious and breathing and in charge of their cognitive abilities of what they were doing or having done to them, and I have heard of some pretty weird stuff and been involved in some 'off the wall' scenes but this, this takes the biscuit... this is the Oscar, the Emmy, the Grammy and the Tony all in one.

He has certainly gone for the big one, the most repulsive one and the one everyone will pull a face and will be imagining the 100 year old corpse being fucked for - probably - the first time in decades. Cold and clammy and you'd need some lube for that one..

It is somewhat vile the thought that the young beauties he molested would never even have looked at him

let alone had consensual sex with him and his actions are rape - an abuse - and he deserves all he gets and one can only imagine how well the other prisoners will treat him in prison.

This man clearly has issues with living people and is only brave enough to have sex with a women if she is dead. It says a great deal about his fear and mental state surrounding women even though he obviously wants to sexually pleasure himself on and with her body.

People talk about Snuff Movies, where a porn film actually will have someone killed during the sex scene, but in all the years and all the investigations by the police over the decades, not one single film has ever been found so is probably an urban myth.

Too many people are fucked up when it comes to sex and this has probably come about because he was unable to attract women , unable to talk with them, chat them up and get into their knickers and this led to sexual dysfunction that ran out of control - or where he saw it as he having the control over the women. This reeks of his own inability and his own lacking and it turned into this appalling manner of sexual relief for him using dead bodies. A bit like fucking a mannequin.

Utter and complete revulsion.

The world is in a mess. Politically, Morally. Religiously. Financially. We have no role models, no guidance and even when a government says something like ' family values' it turns out the politicians themselves are bonking anything that moves and ' family values' is not for them - but for the 'great unwashed - the masses ' - and not the politicians, so more lies and bullshit from those in power.

After reading this, there is nothing I would not believe any more. Nothing will shock me. I think I have just about heard it all ... but then again, it's early ....
