Story by Almha Murphy
According to a government report, 26% of UK adults report feeling lonely at least some of the time. Yet, despite how common the issue is, there's still something embarrassing about having to admit you’re lonely. It invokes questions like, why don’t you have someone to hang out with? It implies a self-contained defect, an inability to socialise.
Russia bans Elton John AIDS Foundation for trying to “denigrate” the country
The singer's namesake NGO has been officially designated as "undesirable".
By Greg Owen
Russia’s General Prosecutor on Thursday banned the Elton John AIDS Foundation from operating in the country, claiming it’s part of an effort “by the ‘collective West’ to discredit traditional values and escalate social tensions” in Russia.
The ban stopped short of deeming the foundation an “extremist” group under the umbrella of a 2023 order by Russia’s Supreme Court designating the so-called “international LGBT social movement” as an “extremist organization.”

'Unravelling': Trump accused of 'breathtaking sabotage' against the U.S. economy.
President Donald Trump has been working at breakneck speed to eliminate federal programs, prompting an opinion columnist with The Washington Post to ponder, "Is there anything Trump won't destroy?"
You won’t believe this one
Trump managed to make an already awful situation even worse. During a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on Monday, Trump was asked about the release of 59 Israeli hostages held by Hamas. But instead of focusing on that, he decided to rant about how Nazis showed “love” to Jewish prisoners during the Holocaust.
Yes, you read that right.
Trump praised Nazi-era behavior, asking if Hamas showed any “love” or gave any “help” to the hostages, like he claims Nazis did for their victims. Spoiler alert: The Holocaust was not about love. It was the state-sponsored, systematic persecution and murder of six million Jews, along with millions of others including hundreds of thousands of LGBT:- But sure, let’s keep deflecting from the real issue.
Peak Trump behavior.

President Trump has announced that all military members who were discharged for refusing the COVID mandate will be reinstated and receive full back pay, along with a formal apology from the United States.--------------------------------------------
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said, "All medications sold in America should be manufactured IN America to ensure quality and security."--
----------------------------------------
I am repeatedly asked why I worry about Trump when there is nothing I can do about it and it is America, so not the UK, and I do have to say that it may well be America, but do not be naive in assuming his actions do not affect us here in the UK or in Europe, because it does, especially as the world is a lot smaller since WW2 and Hitler and a lot more dangerous.
Things tend to have a way of making there way across the Atlantic and when we see how Trump / Musk are already complainng about the way the UK government handles certain things, when it is none of their damned business, then it matters as it DOES affect how the world views us and it DOES affect us, politically, financially, legally and morally.
I see Trump as the next Hitler and no good will come out of this... Oh like Hitler and the autobans and the VW and all sorts of good things he did achieve, mass murdering the LGBT community and the Gypsies, handicapped and Jews tends to hold your attention more, but he did do some things that were good,- mass murdering genocide on a massive scale was always his ultimate aim and I do believe that Trump is working to a hidden agenda that is NOT going to be good for the mass population not only of the USA but globally.
