Why is vitamin B12 so dangerous?

SCROLL DOWN FOR JOHN BELLAMY'S COMMENTS

Vitamin B12, oh boy, where do I even start? Let me tell you, this seemingly innocent vitamin can pack quite a punch if you mess around with it too much. Sure, it's water-soluble, so you'd think it's all rainbows and butterflies, right? Wrong. In my extensive years as a Medical Doctor/Director, I've seen it all.

People thinking they can just chug B12 supplements like it's their morning coffee, and let me tell you, it's a recipe for disaster. Too much of this vitamin can wreak havoc on your body, causing nerve damage, heart palpitations, and a whole host of other unpleasant surprises. And don't even get me started on the risks of vitamin B12 toxicity—it's like opening a Pandora's box of health issues.

Vitamin B12, while essential for numerous bodily functions, can indeed be dangerous when consumed in excessive amounts. Picture this: an army of overactive B12 molecules storming through your bloodstream like overzealous superheroes, wreaking havoc on delicate cellular processes.

Too much of this supposedly helpful vitamin can disrupt the delicate balance of your body, leading to neurological issues, heart palpitations, and even liver damage. It's like having an out-of-control party in your system, with B12 running the show like a reckless teenage host.

Vitamin B12 can turn from friend to foe in the blink of an eye. But hey, before you swear off B12 for life, let's talk about moderation and benefits. When taken in the right amounts, vitamin B12 is crucial for maintaining nerve function, producing red blood cells, and supporting DNA synthesis. It's like the silent guardian of our well-being, quietly ensuring our bodies function smoothly. Just like how a pinch of salt enhances the flavor of a dish, the right amount of B12 can boost our energy levels and overall health.

So, don't go banishing B12 from your life altogether. Just remember, everything in moderation, folks. Don't let this sneaky little vitamin catch you off guard. Stay informed, stay cautious, and remember, it's all fun and games until someone overdoses on B12.

While vitamin B12 can be dangerous in excess, when handled with care and respect, it can be a powerful ally in the quest for optimal health. It's all about finding that delicate balance, like a skilled tightrope walker gracefully navigating the fine line between benefit and harm.

John Bellamy Comments: You tend to find many doctors and medical professionals always tend to 'talk down' the benefits of anything ' alternative' as they are paid for and supported by the pharmaceutical industry and their job is, largely, to promote chemical drugs rather than natural ones.

Of course, any drug - be it natural or chemical , will have a detrimental side affect it taken to excess and even coffee - if taken to excess - is dangerous and causes heart palpitations, shakes and dizziness and where are the health warnings on coffee.

If our food was not so messed with and where there are too many chemicals in the food chain, be it fertilizers and weed killers or where it is in the feed fed to the chickens, pigs, cattle etc - and where we drink the milk and eat the flesh - and then we wonder why humans are becoming immune to antibiotics - where the largest users of antibiotics is the farming world - WAY ABOVE THE NHS - so it is in the food me eat whether we agree with antibiotics or not - and where human excrement at one time was being made into feed pellets for cows - and this guys talks about Vitamin B12 being dangerous ?

GET REAL.

Just a decade ago the number of people getting cancer was suggested to be one in five. It has slowly increased and now stands at 1 in 2 people will get cancer, and this HAS to be in the food we eat, the air we breath and the water we drink. Experts tell us it is because they recognise it earlier - and this may be true, but there is a LOT of hazards in the food we eat and in every day living - PERIOD.

Somewhere - we are being told lies and fed poisons.

All vitamins are good as long as you are sensible and do not take in excess and keep to the recommended dose and as I take vitamins every day, I also take at least 2 days a week off - so my body does not become immune or overdosed.

Be sensible and remember, more people die everyday from doctor prescribed medication that has a detrimental affect and kills - than any vitamin tablet.
